Key job responsibilities Lead data-driven econometric studies to create future business opportunities Consult with stakeholders in Delivery Experience and other teams to help solve existing business challenges Advise senior leaders and collaborate with other scientists to drive innovation Support delivery program growth in international marketplaces including in the EU, Japan, and others Basic Qualifications PhD in Economics Experience in private sector, government, or academic research Experience conducting econometric analysis including reduced-form causal analysis, structural modeling, or machine learning Effective oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience applying statistical methods to business problems Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment Strong research track record Applicants with considerably more experience, including mid-career, are also highly encouraged Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
