Finance Manager - High growth, VC backed FinTech - £55,000-60,000

Talentedge are exclusively partnering with a very exciting FinTech who have a leading SaaS product in the financial infrastructure space. They are VC backed and have scaled to 70 staff so far and increasing, and are looking to bring in a Finance Manager to support the CFO in developing the finance organisation. They have been included in various lists of leading Tech/FinTech businesses both in terms of growth, and for their positive work culture.

The Role

  • Own all management accounting, financial accounting and reporting processes
  • Deliver accurate and timely month end reporting process
  • Alongside CFO, design and implement sound processes and reports as the company scales
  • Identify and utilise the best systems and tools in market to automate and ensure the finance function is as effcient as possible
  • Deliver monthly reporting pack to senior team including P&L, balance sheet and cash flows
  • Provide insights and analysis on variance vs budget and KPIs
  • Assist with FP&A processes and analysis of key SaaS metrics
  • Oversee revenue reporting including revenue recognition
  • Business partner with all teams - engineering product, sales, marketing etc, - to ensure sound commercial decision making
  • Lead audit, tax, VAT and R&D tax claims processes

Profile:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a couple of years PQE as a Financial Accountant, Management Account or Finance Manager
  • Experience within the FinTech/SaaS sectors preferred
  • Experience working in a hands on, varied finance role
  • Proven experience of building an in-house finance function advantageous but not essential
  • Confident with finance systems and tools; implementation/upgrade experience attractive
  • Able to work in a hands on environment with limited resource
