They are looking to recruit an experienced Accountant, possibly straight from practice (though this is not essential), to lead the financial management and reporting of recently acquired businesses. The on-going integration of acquired entities requires a flexible and 'can do’ approach to meet the challenges that this presents, bringing an opportunity for the applicant to gain exposure to and experience of acquisition accounting and reporting.
Immediately post acquisition the individual will be required to take control and responsibility for all local accounting of the acquired entity and become the central finance contact, co-ordinating with Treasury, Payroll, Purchase ledger and Sales ledger. Duties to include:
