We’re an online mortgage platform that makes mortgages possible for people who struggle to get one. We specialise in bad credit, self-employed and complex mortgages.
Our platform develops a picture of the customers' situation and then matches them to a broker who has the expertise to get them a mortgage from our team of specialist brokers. Haysto customers and brokers manage the entire process through our portal with live updates.
Since we launched in Q4 2020 we have been featured in The Sunday Times, The Telegraph, The Financial Times, The Sun, The Daily Mail and others. We are on track to originate 2500 mortgages this year.
Our CEO and Co-founder Jon, was told getting a mortgage was impossible because he was self-employed and also had a bad credit history.
But that wasn’t true.
Jon just needed to meet Paul - the other Haysto Co-founder.
Paul is a specialist mortgage broker. He helps people who don’t fit the mould get a mortgage - even if they’ve been laughed out of the bank, or the computer said "no".
After Paul made a mortgage possible for Jon, Jon realised his situation was far from unique. Loads of people get unfairly turned down for a mortgage. So he set up Haysto with Paul to help make mortgages possible for people who struggle to get one.
Why we exist
Haysto exists because the mortgage world is broken. If you don’t have a shiny credit rating, you’re self-employed with a complex income, or just don’t fit the mould, the odds are completely stacked against you. We just don’t think that’s fair. Things like bad credit don’t make you a bad person. And you should never feel like that. So we developed a solution.
Most online mortgage brokers and traditional lenders use automated decision making to determine eligibility, but this doesn’t work for complex situations. More often than not, when you don’t fit into a box, the computer will say "No".
We don’t use technology to replicate humans. We use technology to enable us to spend more time on what matters most. Understanding customers' unique situations and empowering them to realise their home ownership dreams.
What we’re looking for
Job Title: Case Manager

Reporting to: Paul Coss, Chief Customer Officer
At least 1 years’ experience in an Administration role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ambitious and a self-starter with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
embracing continuous improvement
Detail obsessed, conscientious and highly organised with exceptional time
management skills - we move at speed and need you to keep up
Proven ability to develop strong relationships across internal team members
Excellent computer skills
Experience with complex mortgages cases and specialist lenders is an advantage but
What you’ll do
Reporting to the CCO, work efficiently and proactively to manage new and existing customers’ applications from submission, through to the lender and completion
You’ll need to make sure all applications are accurate and complete, and that all
supporting documentation has been provided as required by compliance
You’ll need to keep in regular contact with lenders, conveyancers, and surveyors to
provide regular updates to customers - comprehensively and jargon-free
You’ll interpret and collate data across a number of systems as well as uploading all
client information correctly on to our platform - accurately and in a timely manner
You’ll need to thoroughly check mortgage offers to make sure there are no errors
Act as a critical feedback loop to our Operations and Development teams as we
continuously enhance our platform, customer journey and service model
Work with our mortgage experts (brokers) to guarantee they are best enabled to
deliver the highest quality of customer service
You’ll take part in regular training, 1 to 1s and team meetings, celebrating successes and addressing areas for improvement
You’ll also look at the bigger picture, keeping a close eye on processes and feedback to ensure the best possible journey for our customers
Compliance - and Haysto’s values - will be at the heart of everything you do. You’ll consistently make sure that both Haysto’s and your customers’ interests are looked after
