Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Group Account Assistant

The company is an instantly recognisable electronics corporate in Slough. With operations all over the UK. The company generate revenues in access of £500m and employ over 2500.

The role is taking early responsibility for monitoring the Group's internal daily cash and banking position. Execute processes and propose H2H payments and internal transfers of group bank accounts ensuring funds are readily accessible for all the EMEA group operations.
Proactively support the transactions processes and business partner with heads of Banking, Cash management and Treasury. Support accounting tasks and highlight areas of exposure.
Implement best practices and controls to minimise any discrepancies and recommend and implement improvements to how the system works.

The person is ideally a graduate or a qualified by experience individual with extensive EMEA group account reconciliations experience.(perhaps with a banking or financial services background) or 3 years + experience in a banking operation or cash management environment.
A strong communicator/influencer, comfortable challenging processes and keen to take early responsibility to support internal corporate customers. Organised, efficient and accurate with strong operational and analysis skills. A thorough, confident individual with a keen eye for detail.
Comfortable communicating 'up to the minute' internal banking and cash positions, monitoring accounts and highlighting areas of concern. Investigate issues and recommend improvements to systems and how things are done. SAP and excel skills very useful
