Credit Control Assistant £22000-25000 Hemel Hempstead Herts Imm.start!!

  • Assist with Oracle Netsuite implementation and UAT
  • To assist in the daily activities of the Credit Control function for EMEA for approximately 600 multi-currency accounts, including but not limited to, customer reconciliations, obtaining credit limits from credit insurers, chasing debt, clearing accounts, cash allocation and releasing orders
  • Responsible for safeguarding the AR against unnecessary risk, strictly adhering to SOP
  • Assist in seeking credit reports for new and current customers to assess financial worthiness for credit facilities
  • Updating Customer Accounts with Credit report Alerts
  • Assist in managing discretionary Credit Limit expiry dates and advising Sales Managers accordingly
  • Chasing Customer Debts
  • Dealing with Customer queries and working with Sales Admin to resolve
  • Maintaining Customer records
  • Credit note administration
  • Credit Control reporting at month-end
  • Bad debt provision
  • Supporting Finance with the month-end closing process
  • Supporting the Finance Manager and CFO as required

Candidate Specification

Qualifications / Experience

  • Good IT skills in ERP environment and Excel
  • Commercially astute
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Studying Finance exams AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA
