The Employer and Opportunity:

Dot Recruit are proud to have partnered with a locally renowned independent organisation based in East Lancashire to recruit for a Finance Assistant who will report to the Finance Manager in a newly created opportunity.

Although this business is steeped in history and tradition, having been established for 100 years, they have moved with the changing times in an agile and forward-thinking fashion. This approach meant they successfully navigated the pandemic, resurfacing with exciting vision and growth plans for the coming years relating to the attraction and retention of new customers through state-of-the-art site developments, improved marketing, and their reputation for excellence.

The Role:

With the support of the talented and dynamic Finance Manager you will take on full ownership for the sales ledger function for the business, building solid and longstanding relationships with customers to maintain company cashflow.

Your duties will include managing deposits, raising invoices for fees, taking payments and calling customers to settle outstanding accounts. You will reconcile the company bank account and provide debt analysis reporting for the Finance Manager.

The Requirements:

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA, qualified to be considered for this opportunity. You will possess strong Excel skills and have a keen interest and track record in adding value within a business.

It goes without saying you will have exceptional people skills to succeed in this role as someone who will be liaising with customers and colleagues every day. You will be proactive by nature and will enjoy identifying and investigate ways to improve financial processes and procedures.
