Job Description

This well established and successful company is expanding and looking for an experienced Facilities Administrator. Along with a salary of GBP24,000 they offer excellent working conditions and benefits that include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking, and a pension scheme.

About the role:
Working in a busy office environment, you will be assisting the management team with the planning and coordination of all activities regarding the administration and supervision across hard and soft services in a commercial property. Duties will include:
Supporting the Operations Manager with the management of compliance/risk on site, including the maintenance of all records through company specific systems
Inspecting the property with Department Heads and reporting all findings and actions implemented
Working with Heads of Departments to resolve operational challenges around health & safety in the property
Assisting in ensuring health, safety and environmental policies are implemented
Monitoring contractor work requests raising relevant permits to work and programming, as needed
Assisting with the procurement and administration of contracts
Ensuring records are maintained for the asset register, including plans, plant, testing, servicing etc. and any action points undertaken
Assisting with the administration of contracts to include raising Work Requests
Being aware of and developing the crisis management plan ensuring all occupiers and site teams are fully briefed
Supporting the property and company environmental policy, including waste and energy management.
Assisting the Centre Team in delivering regular management reports

Skills and Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar Facilities Administrator role with a good understanding of Health and Safety including NEBOSH or IOSH qualification along with an understanding of COSHH. You will also be highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise. You will be comfortable using Word, Excel and Outlook.
