Job Description

The Whistl success story goes from strength to strength, and this is an exciting opportunity to join our Posthub team in Bristol as they guide businesses with their mailing campaigns through the postal journey from planning to delivery, whilst also helping to simplify the complexity of their data and mail requirements.

As part of a small, dedicated team with big aspirations there will be opportunities for you to spread your wings and engage in many areas but especially Operations and Account Management, supporting the Head of Data Management on any projects and developments.

As Data Account Manager you will handle all inbound data and mailsort for Posthub DSA mailings in line with the agreed specification, including data cleansing activities. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

  • Accurately processing inbound data through the BBS sortation software following the details on the job brief.
  • Reviewing data outputs produced by colleagues providing quality check and sign-off on jobs.
  • Maintaining regular communication with customers and mailing houses on inbound and outbound data queries.
  • Analysing data through data cleansing packages to produce accurate quotes for bespoke data cleansing jobs.

Essential Skills

We need someone who can demonstrate that they:

  • Are able to communicate complex information both verbally and in writing in order to influence and gain commitment from internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Can quickly develop an understanding of the requirements of clients, expectations of project sponsors and the capabilities of technical staff and vendors then manage these competing drivers to deliver a balanced solution.
  • Able to pro-actively identify where systems of procedures may be improved and make realistic/workable solutions or improvements as required.
  • Have excellent organisation skills with the ability to priorities workload and work to conflicting, frequently demanding deadlines for self and the team.
  • Produce consistently accurate work with a high level of attention to detail even when working under pressure - that "right first time" mentality is a must.

Ideally you will have previous experience working with DSA products and services including industry mailsort software's e.g. Datasend. What is essential is that you have significant experience handling inbound and outbound data in various formats and utilising a range of data software packages.
