Accounts Assistant | Altrincham | £20,000-£21,000


This is a temporary role with a well established solicitors to cover maternity leave for 9-10 months.


This role will include, but is not limited to, the following duties:


* Performance of daily bank reconciliations
* Daily banking
* Posting of purchase ledger invoices
* Posting and/or completion of cheques
* Running of quarterly Account Balance Reviews and chasing for completion
* Monitoring and updating of control spreadsheets
* General administrative and clerical tasks


The successful candidate for this position will have/be:


* Previous experience as a purchase ledger clerk
* Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills
* A solid working knowledge of excel
* Numeracy skills demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail
