Loss Prevention Officer - Marine in South West London - Nashrock Recruitment

A leading Insurance company is seeking a professional Loss Prevention Officer to support The Loss Prevention Department (LPD), its Members as well as the Claims and Underwriting departments.

Salary: £33,000 - £38,000pa

Location: London, Hybrid working

The Role
Manage the ship condition survey programme
Provide technical advice to Claims Handlers, Underwriters & Members
Conducting management reviews and investigating root causes of claims
Writing and presenting technical seminars to Members, seafarers and superintendents
About You
2 years of experience in a similar role across Marine Insurance
Previous operational experience in the maritime industry, either as a Deck Officer or Engineer, or in a professional shoreside role
Seagoing experience on a variety of different vessel types is preferred
Computer literate within MS Package
