JOB TITLE: Marketing & Communication Manager

JOB TYPE: Permanent

SALARY: £50,000- £75,000 depending on experience

Duties and goals:

As Head of Marketing and Communications, you will manage the strategy and execution of all activity. there is a creative person in the team who will be able to help you produce some content, but it is important you are happy to plan, strategise and create the marketing.

The role is not to drive sales of any sort, but to deliver clear, transparent, and concise and helpful information to the market to ensure accountants and other professional recommend escalating their efforts to this company. The company director currently covers this role, and will be there to offer support and work alongside, but mainly this is an autonomous role which they hope will grow in to a department in the future which you will be able to create.

  • Create a long term marketing strategy and execute a plan on behalf of the company and its objectives
  • Manage and grow social media presence
  • Create, Manage, and track the performance of campaigns
  • Be able to work reactively as well as long term; things can change quickly in this industry and they want to be ahead of the curve in terms of great blogs and content
  • Develop company literature and merchandise
  • Market research and development
  • Copywriting and writing blogs
  • Co-ordinate marketing campaigns and communications
  • Organise Business Development events alongside the Business development team
  • Identify strategic partnerships
  • Manage the firm's press office, including handling day-to-day media enquiries

  • Demonstrable understanding of delivering strategy and results
  • Experience of a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • A sound business understanding as well as being commercially and risk-aware.
  • Proactive with a positive can-do approach.
  • Passionate about Marketing
  • Managing external agencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively as well as working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation.
  • Experience in owning and managing multiple projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly, approachable person who loves what they do with no sales patter
  • You are someone who is clear and transparent and brilliant and building relationships
  • Experience in a professional environment within finance, tax, law or accounting or professional services would be great
  • A natural self-starter, who is excited to build this role and a team in the future
