Accounts Assistant Ormskirk 35 hours per week £22,000 per annum

Your new company
A large organisation employing just over 180 people in the Ormskirk area, due to expansion they are looking to add to their friendly and well established accounts team

Your new role
Reporting to the Accounts manager this is a varied ad interesting role ad duties will include:

  • Assisting in the Accounts processes and ensuring that processes are completed
  • Assisting management with training of new employees
  • Dealing with everyday queries

Other Duties

  • Pricing of rental agreements and updating and relevant spreadsheets
  • Reconciliation of rental agreements at month end and update debtors
  • Purchase ledger, matching to PO's, input onto the system and payments thereof
  • Analysing of cash received daily and updating spreadsheets
  • Petty Cash for all depots and reconciliation
  • Bank Receipts & Payments and the maintenance of the relevant spreadsheets
  • Answering telephone queries
  • Other general Accounts duties

What you'll need to succeed

  • Accounting and admin experience
  • An eye to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team

What you'll get in return
35 hours per week 9am - 5pm, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, free parking.
