Your new company
Our client is a well-established and highly reputable business known and trusted by their customers across their industry and across the UK.

Your new role
Due to a maternity leave, they are looking to appoint an experienced finance professional for a 15-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Finance Director, you would be responsible for all day to day financial controls for the business on a stand-alone basis. Duties include:

  • Purchase ledger maintenance
  • Sales ledger maintenance
  • Credit control
  • Bank and Control Account reconciliations
  • Expenses
  • Petty Cash
  • VAT returns
  • Year-end accounting
  • Month end management reporting
  • Budgeting & forecasting


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal person will have a strong demonstrable background in being directly responsible for all aspects of day to day accounting on a sole basis. You would have a confident, 'hands on' supportive nature and be happy to role your sleeves up as and when necessary. Experience in using common SME financial packages is essential, ideally using an ERP system.
