I am urgently seeking an experienced, qualified accountant for a key client of mine based in Dorking. You will be required to work on both the financial and the management accounts side of the business and this role will run as a 10 month contract on my clients payroll to cover a period of maternity.
Your duties as the Accountant include:
Annual reporting; building of the annual budget and quarterly review.
Engage with internal business partners to support them in the budget process.
Monthly reporting; calculation and posting of accruals and prepayments.
Monthly adjustment and journals.
Monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
Forecasting and the impact on the financial year.
Review of overdue debtors report and cashbook.
Production of balance sheet reconciliations.
The successful accountant will be qualified with a broad range of both management and financial accounts experience.
