Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Analyst to develop and progress an exciting career with a specialist FMCG retailer who are a market leader in their field. With a mix of home working and working from their modern head office in Warwickshire, in this role you will be at the heart of action, with responsibility for optimum product availability to make sure their customers get the products they need.

About the role

You will be accountable for product availability, inventory management and supplier management in this exciting and challenging role. You will be responsible for helping the company achieve their sales targets by ensuring the right products are in the store at the right time, and within the agreed inventory budget. You will also ensure stock holding within the distribution network is maintained at the optimum level using historical sales data, promotional activity and in-season sales performance. The job holder will also be the first point of contact with suppliers, working collaboratively with them to forecast stock requirements and to manage inbound supply of their category.

About the person

To be considered for this position, you will have experience of working in a Retail or FMCG Supply Chain environment where your experience in the industry will have seen you develop outstanding planning and forecasting skills. You must also be highly analytical, with strong numerical skills and with the ability to forge relationships with others in the business using your influencing and relationship building skills. The company do not have layers of management red tape, so you will have loads of autonomy and accountability.
