I am currently recruiting for several SEMH Teaching and learning assistants to support children with SEMH on a 1:1 basis in and out of the classroom across in an expanding trust that caters for both Primary and Secondary age vulnerable children.
The students across these schools do have challenging behaviour and need support with their learning and behaviour. The ideal candidate will be committed and looking for a stable, long-term post as this opportunity could become permanent.
This is a full-time opportunity, Monday - Friday, and the school look for reliable, passionate, and proactive individuals who want to help these students progress and learn. Experience with SEMH and challenging behaviour is desirable but not essential providing you show the right level of enthusiasm. The right candidate needs to be resilient and have energy and compassion to work with these children. The special educational needs that children may have at this school are Autism, ADHD, ODD, Dyslexia, Asperger's, Emotional and behavioural difficulties, and other mental health and general learning difficulties.
You will need to have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one. You will also have the opportunity to be enrolled onto the next Team Teach course and Autism Awareness course with TimePlan Education.
