Senior Project Manager | Fast Growth Insurance | Leeds

Harmonic are delighted to be recruiting for an Insurance business who have become a leading name within the industry. Continuing to thrive and grow in spite of Covid-19 the business operates on a turnover of around £35 million, and have exciting plans to scale, the company is made up of around 300 employees. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Project Manager looking to join a growing team, with your main objective to manage a range of projects within the IT function to meet the requirements of the business' partners.

The Role:

Due to the large amount of growth they are experiencing, as their next Senior Project Manager you will be managing an arrange of change transformation projects in order to help the business meet their objectives. The role will require lots of stakeholder management and integrations with partners.

Based in Leeds, you will also have opportunity to travel on occasion to their other offices around the UK. The company also offer remote/flexible working.

Duties:

Your main duties as part of this role will include, but won't be limited to:

  • Planning and sequencing of the project
  • Working with an array of key stakeholders to set agreed objectives for the project
  • Working with the Business Analyst and Solution Architect to make sure that all projects have the necessary documentation
  • Managing risk and issues
  • Regular monitoring and reporting of progress
  • Using SCRUM and Agile methodologies
  • Ensuring that projects are completed to a excellent standard through controlling quality and assessing documentation
  • Ability to influence teams and partners

What we need to see (essential):

  • At least 4 years' experience in a Project Manager position
  • Good understanding of SCRUM and Agile
  • Experience in managing stakeholders
  • Working in a large organisation within Insurance
  • Has previously managed change governance at a corporate level

Salary: up to £48,000 (dependent on experience
