Job Description

Our client develops strategic employee recognition and reward solutions and are a market leader in the industry with clients in 150 countries delivering rewards to over 19 million users worldwide.

We are helping them build their global sales team here in the UK and have a superb role for a senior Business Development Manager who has experience in selling SaaS direct to large enterprises, preferably within the HR Technology space, and definitely in mainland European markets.

  • You will have a thorough understanding of the cultures and nuances of selling and building relationships in European markets and have the proven ability to go after high-value targeted accounts within these markets, closing large deals ($1m+) with large blue-chip companies.
  • As part of a global team, you will initiate and complete complex, multi-level sales cycles, presenting to C-level executives from HR, Procurement, IT, and Finance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable at Board level interaction, understand bid processes and RFP’s as well as having success with complicated corporate firms with multiple stake holders.

  • As the role is focused on accelerated growth within the European markets, you will need to travel across the region and also to their US Headquarters from time to time. (When we can!)
  • You will have exceptional support internally to achieve your goals which would range from access to their huge support network and frequent engagement on deals with their global strike team, which will assist you on for example, RFPs, bid writing and access to our virtual selling tools.
