Morgan McKinley is proud to be working in partnership with a prestigious and instantly recognisable brand to recruit an inquisitive Financial Accountant who is keen to partner with senior stakeholders and support capital projects across the business.

Role

Working in partnership with the senior leadership team you will be responsible for all elements of controlling and reporting of capital expenditure. A diverse role which requiring high level analytical and partnering skills coupled with first class attention to detail.

Responsibilities for the Financial Accountant: Capital Projects will include:

  • Reporting assets under construction, ensuring projects are within budget and agreed time frames
  • Attending capital review board meetings to support with financial decisions around projects
  • Review and challenge capital proposals
  • Review spend in line with budget
  • Support the year end audit

Profile

  • It is essential the candidate is a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA)
  • Strong technical background
  • Able to support stakeholders
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work within tight deadlines
  • Results orientated, with a desire to succeed
