Payroll Analyst, 12 month fixed term contract job in Darlington, hybrid working

This Darlington based shared service centre has an immediate need for any experienced Payroll Analyst to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.
Your new role
Payroll processing activities for various payroll groups including the preparation, processing and balancing of payroll.
Ensuring all information received from data interfaces and manual data sources is uploaded to the system without error.
Utilising internal or external payroll technologies for payroll processing activities.
Ensuring payments are calculated and paid accurately and timely; proper calculation of taxes and deductions. Providing customer support to the sites including any off-cycle or replacement payments needed.
Reviews the information prepared for general ledger entries and other accounting and financial reporting
Review and preparation of data necessary for the filing of payroll related tax returns and miscellaneous withholding forms.
Completion of year end process including year end adjustments, year end tax statements and review of year end tax filing information.
An internal and external resource on payroll related inquiries.
What you'll need to succeed
A proven track record in the full end to end payroll process is essential to this role as the client needs a candidate that can pretty much hit the ground running.
