To support in meeting our objectives, we are looking for a Regional Business Manager who can ensure our West Essex and Havering reablement services meet and exceed both customer and commissioner expectations.

As Regional Business Manager, you will lead the development of new products and services that widen the remit of the current reablement offer and increase funding. This could include additional funding streams for ECC, health commissioners or other commissioners outside of Essex. In the medium term ECL has aspirations to develop a regulated private payer offer and these roles will be central to developing the offer.

The role will also support continuous service development and improvement in the context of a changing adult social care market, in particular the integration of health and social care and the focus on choice and control for service users, customers and their families.

Regular travel required across our local sites in West Essex and Havering and to our Head Office in Chelmsford. Mileage and travel time is claimable.

Key Skills Required

  • Subject Matter Expertise in intermediate care and/or reablement
  • Proven skills in delivering high quality sustainable care services, with clear decision-making abilities and a sense of responsibility
  • Multi-million pound budget accountability/responsibility
  • Experience of Programme Management and Change Management from inception to completion, on cross functional projects
  • A proven track record of strong and effective relationship management with both internal and external stakeholders of all levels
  • An outstanding ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management; strategic and operational
  • Track record of leading and developing commercial activities, combined with an exceptional background in delivering profitable and sustainable growth

Although previous experience working specifically at a Regional Business Manager / Head of Regional Operations role in the Health & Social Care sector would be advantageous, training will be provided.
