Job Description

Recruit Mint are working with a UK supplier of building materials who are recruiting for a Branch Manager in North West area. The role will be managing all branch operations and sales. This is a established branch already and will involve managing 30 members of staff which range from operations to sales.


  • Up to £35k basic salary
  • £5k bonus
  • 28 days holiday + Bank holidays
  • Company Car/Car allowance

Location: You will need to based near the one of following areas to be considered for the position: Manchester, Leigh, Bolton, Rochdale, Wigan or Bolton

Job Role:

  • Manage all branch operations, customer service, HR, admin and sales
  • Identify current and prospective sales opportunities within the area
  • Develop forecasts and business plans
  • Manage budget and P&L
  • Bring out the best in the branch employees by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
  • To be a hands on leader, who is committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and revenue.

Job requirements:

  • Experienced branch/depot manager of a builders merchant or building product distributor
  • Knowledge of local area
  • Leadership skills
  • organised and structured approach to work and tasks
  • Results driven and customer focussed
  • Strong decision maker
