JOB TITLE: Marketing & Communication Manager

JOB TYPE: Permanent

SALARY: £35,000- £50,000 depending on experience

Duties and goals:

The role is not to drive sales of any sort, but to deliver clear, transparent, and concise and helpful information to the market to ensure accountants and other professional recommend escalating their efforts to this company. The company director currently covers this role, and will be there to offer support and work alongside, but mainly this is an autonomous role which they hope will grow in to a department in the future which you will be able to create.

  • Build a marketing strategy and execute plan on behalf of the company and its external consultant
  • Attend business development opportunities
  • Manage and grow social media presence
  • Develop company literature and merchandise
  • Market research and development
  • Co-ordinate marketing campaigns and communications
  • Organise Business Development events
  • Identify strategic partnerships
  • Manage the firm's press office, including handling day-to-day media enquiries

Personal Profile:

  • Demonstrable understanding in delivering PR strategy and results
  • Familiarity working in marketing.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • A sound business understanding as well as being commercially and risk aware.
  • Proactive with a positive can do approach.
  • Passionate about Marketing
  • Managing external agencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively as well as working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation.
  • Experience in owning and managing multiple projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, approachable person who loves what they do with no sales patter
  • You are someone who is clear and transparent and brilliant and building relationships
  • Experience in a professional environment within tax, law or accounting or professional services
  • A natural self starter, who is excited to build this role and a team in the future
