Job description:

Working for a fantastic leading legal body as a Business Development Manager  based in South London. This is a permanent role is paying £75-85K plus flexibility to be in the office twice a week with excellent benefits

Key responsibilities

·         Offering first class BD and marketing service to NHS and private health sectors

·         Produce sector strategic plans as part of our business planning programme

·         Develops sector propositions and key messages, setting and managing a calendar of strategic campaigns

·         Monitor and analyse sector performance against targets and chair quarterly sales meetings

·         Maintain a focus on top clients, including target setting and producing action plans

·         Sales account and opportunity management, including horizon scanning of the market

·         Work with the bids team to identify client mobilisation priorities and manage client on-boarding including for key sector frameworks

·         Develop tactical and strategic marketing plans that support sector objectives and facilitate face to face relationship building

·         Capability development – work with fee earners to develop their personal potential and personal brands

·         Proactively manage relationships with key sector and industry contacts, publications, websites and other external bodies

·         Be an active and engaged member of the work winning team, contributing to firm-wide BD projects such as competitor intelligence.

Key Experience: 

·         Must have strong Business Development professional with experience of working in a professional services environment at manager level ideally in NHS and healthcare

·         Strong commercial sales experience, with an ability to understand, analyse and advise on revenue performance against target;

·         Strong key account management experience, with an ability to drive client revenue performance;

·         An excellent understanding of the full range of marketing and business development activities necessary for a progressive organisation;

·         Proven experience and an interest in building external relationships with influencers and clients

·         Resilience and flexibility
