Job Title: Account Manager - Disruptive B2B Marketing Agency

Location: London, with scope for flexible working

Salary: £30-£35K depending on experience plus bonus and benefits

About the B2B Marketing Agency

Exciting opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager to join a disruptive growing B2B marketing agency. They are a creative hub, producing some of the UK's most recognised content across multiple media channels: digital, print and omni-channel and through the combination of first-class journalism, data and memorable graphic design. Based in amazing loft-style offices in the creative hub of London the company has seen incredible growth with the common thread of entrepreneurialism and boldness. With an agency side and a publishing side to the business, they have a diverse and collaborative team of experts, and are looking for a new Account Manager to become a key member of the growing client services team within the agency. The agency side of the business partners with exciting household name B2B brands in tech, professional services, financial services and fintech like Google and KPMG. They are disrupting the traditional agency model through their innovative and agile approach. The Account Manager will be joining the agency in the midst of an exciting growth phase, with scope to help shape things and grow with the agency.

About the Account Manager role

The Account Manager will report into the Group Account Director, working across a mix of key clients.

Key Responsibilities for the Account Manager:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, helping to retain and grow accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and freelancers to deliver content and marketing projects.
  • Support on proposals and client pitches.
  • Develop campaign plans, timelines and costings.
  • Stay abreast of latest trends and innovations in B2B marketing.

About You

You'll be an ambitious client services professional, ideally with marketing agency experience. You'll have good commercial acumen, and will be looking for an opportunity with lots of scope to grow.

Skills and experience needed for the Account Manager:

  • Marketing agency experience a bonus.
  • B2B marketing experience also beneficial, but not imperative.
  • Good commercial acumen - you might even come from a sales background.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Interest in B2B marketing.
