Senior Business Development Manager - Cloud Services

Key Role with Rapidly Growing Cloud Services Provider

Home-Based Anywhere in England

To £75K with Double OTE, Car Allowance and Excellent Bens

Our client is a rapidly growing provider of public and private cloud services to major enterprise customers across the UK. They are an AWS Advanced Consulting partner as well as having close ties with Azure and their own cloud offering. They are able to offer customers a truly tailored solution, suitable both for existing and future needs of the business and backed up by world-class technical support. As part of their continued expansion they now wish to hire a senior cloud sales specialist.

The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Sales of high-value cloud deals into new medium and large enterprise customers
  • Managing the sales process from lead creation and qualification, through C-level engagement and onto deal closure
  • Working closely with marketing teams to assist lead generation activities
  • Provision of accurate and detailed sales forecasting
  • Contributing to new product development activities

The successful candidate will:

  • Have proven new business sales track record gained either with a major cloud vendor or as a cloud specialist with a reseller
  • Have experience of data centre migrations
  • Have experience of closing large, complex deals
  • Have experience of manging groups of C-level stakeholders both externally and internally
  • Be self-motivated and used to operating independently
  • Have a technical understanding of cloud enough to qualify leads to a basic level
