Job Description

Our client develops SaaS solutions that simplify the business of research administrations, helping them work smarter. With 60% of the top research organizations trusting them to modernize their administration systems (compliance, funding application, fund management, data etc...), they are currently growing out their UK presence with a Product Manager as they continue to expand around the globe.

Having been around for over 20 years, with a 99-100% customer retention rate over the last few years and still maintaining an entrepreneurial and family feel to their team, this is an exciting time to join a business like this that are leaders in their sector of research software.

The Product Manager would ideally have experience of the research/higher educaiton space as an indepth understanding of the processes involved in these sectors would be key to success in this role. The role would cover the following responsibilities:

  • Co-develop product vision and strategy with department and company leadership
  • Identify strategies for improving product P&L performance
  • Establish and lead Customer Advisory Boards
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to ensure they are well supported in all goto market plans
  • Develop and orchestrate launch plans and activities
  • Make all product decisions including prioritization relative to features, defects and UX to align with product roadmap and business opportunities
  • Participate in and lead pre-sales and promotional activities such as webinars, blogs, etc.
  • Continuously identify and champion ways to improve/evolve product management capabilities

This is a really exciting role which would blend an experience and understanding of the relevant sector as well as a strong desire to get their hands dirty as an important contributor to the company's UK office.

With plenty of flexibility around remote working and only needing to be in the office a couple of times a month, this is a great opportunity for a strong Product Manager from a Research/Higher Ed background who is keen to have ownership and autonomy in a dynamic and growing business.
