My client, a successful Accountancy Firm & Advisory Firm based in Liverpool is recruiting a Bookkeeper to join their Bookkeeping & Accounts Payable team. If you have some bookkeeping experience or sales ledger, purchase ledger or credit control experience then please get in touch, my client will be flexible as training will be given in this area.
It is an opportunity to gain further understanding and experience in Bookkeeping and Accounts Payable processes. Key duties:
Support regional client facing outsourcing teams with advanced bookkeeping, accounts payable and ad-hoc processes and review of these processes.
Be a highly proficient in the preparation of management accounts.
Support regional client facing outsourcing teams with these, VAT returns and other ad-hoc work.
Work both independently and as part of a team to provide these processes, ensuring clients are provided with excellent service
Support peers and senior members of the team with any work requirements, ensuring tasks assigned are completed on schedule and maintaining awareness of the budget at all times
Support and coach junior members of the team
Work with Microsoft excel and various desktop and cloud accounting packages
Provide support and assistance to other teams during their busy periods
Skills Required:
Must have some experience of bookkeeping
Knowledge/experience of sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control would be desirable
Experience in management accounts preparation (desirable)
Experience in using desktop and/or cloud accounting packages
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with other Microsoft packages (essential)
Well presented with a professional level of communication both verbal and written
Good time management, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise/complete tasks
Ability to work well in a team environment/use own initiative and take a flexible approach
