Associate Local Study Manager

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a global drug development company in the UK. The role of Associate Project Manager holds responsibility for providing project coordination and support to the UK Project Management team through performing oversight monitoring visits and site management work for a variety of protocols, sites and therapeutic areas. Experience in Oncology studies is highly desirable.
Work with sites to adapt, drive and track subject recruitment plan in line with project needs.
Administer protocol and related study training to assigned sites
Evaluate the quality and integrity of study site practices related to the proper conduct of the protocol.
Manage the progress of assigned studies by tracking regulatory submissions and approvals.
Act as a mentor for clinical staff including conducting co-monitoring and training visits.
Collaborate and liaise with study team members for project execution support as appropriate.
Perform site monitoring visits (selection, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits)
Be accountable for site financial management according to executed clinical trial agreement
Ideal candidate requirement:
3+ years of year of on-site monitoring experience.
In depth knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements and GCP
Strong therapeutic and protocol knowledge (oncology desirable)
Organizational and problem-solving skills.
Some experience in team management and financial control
Experienced in providing good customer service, through strong customer interaction and effective delivery
