Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant
An Exciting opportunity awaits for a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to work within a manufacturing arm of a multi-national company based in the Blackburn area. This full time, permanent role is well suited to a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant with previous bookkeeping experience.
The Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant must have a proactive approach and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
Raw material reconciliations
Finished product reconciliations
Corresponding with other departments and answering any queries
Report into the Finance Director, assisting with other tasks as necessary
The Candidate:
At least 3 years’ prior practice Bookkeeping experience
Able to communicate with a wide range of suppliers and colleagues
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent organisational skills
Previous Microsoft Dynamics experience is desirable
A can-do attitude to problem-solving
Good communications skills, both written and verbally
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
Remuneration:
Salary up from £22,000 to £25,000 depending on experience
37.5 hour working week
20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
