Job Description
This Top 100 Accountancy firm are recruiting for a Bookkeeper.
Your duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
• Supporting the accounts team by providing bookkeeping services to their clients
• Reconciliation of bank, cash, credit card and control accounts
• Inputting/ importing sales and purchase invoices
• Ledger Reconciliations
• Supplier statements reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Dealing with client queries
• Preparation and posting of journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll and depreciation
Qualifications, skills and experience:
• Bookkeeping experience
• Dealing with clients face to face
• Experienced in Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger/Nominal Ledger
• Able to take accounts to trial balance stage
• Proficient in Xero, Sage and Quickbooks, Excel
• Knowledge of Receipt Bank/ Hubdoc would be an advantage
• A full UK driving licence is essential
