Job Description

A Chartered firm of accountants in Leeds are looking for a Part-time bookkeeper to join their team
Experience in bookkeeping is essential
Main duties:
Inputting of customer sales invoices, supplier invoices, bank and cash transactions,
Reconciliation of bank, cash, supplier and customer ledgers,
Maintaining a fixed asset register,
Helping to develop systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Balancing and maintaining an accurate general ledger and producing a trial balance,
Completion and submission of VAT Returns,
Posting wages journals and year end accounting adjustments,
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Experience using Xero, sage or QuickBooks is preferred
This role is a 21 hour vacancy, split over 3 full days
A flexible working pattern and study support is also on offer
Job type: Permanent, Part-time
Salary: £20,000 - £24,000
