We are currently recruiting a talented and results driven Corporate New Business Manager with a proven track record in new business and senior account management to join the most successful New Business Sales Team Brakes have ever had !. This role provides you with the chance to work with the UK’s largest operators from well-known High Street, Leisure & Retail brands to Healthcare & Catering organisations, it certainly is an opportunity not to be missed.


The role


As a Corporate New Business Manager you will be required to secure new profitable long term corporate contracts that will achieve/exceed our new business targets. With a robust plan in place and a focussed customer base in our sweet spot sectors of Hospitality, Care & Contract Catering you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing large scale multi unit contracts and implementing these new customers into the Brakes family through a full end to end process. Key to the success of this role will be deliver the new business results through a collaborative approach across the business and the ability to manage multiple contract opportunities at the same time.

Accountabilities


  • Management of your corporate pipeline of potential new Brakes customers in excess of £2m+ maintaining up to date records
  • Build cross functional relationships with your customers ensuring all stakeholders are identified and board level senior engagement is in place
  • Develop detailed strategic business plans for each of your prospects
  • Collaboration across the Brakes and Sysco business’s in the UK, Europe and Internationally where applicable to deliver best in class service and product propositions for your prospects
  • Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets in line with your individual and the team Corporate New Business target
  • Deliver highly personalised tender submissions and management of the whole end to end tender process
  • Ensure all tender submissions are in line with the delegation of authority approval process
  • Work with the new business planning and implementation PRINCE2 project managers and lead the launch of your new business wins
  • Identify joint opportunities across the wider UK group companies to work together on, and liaise with the wider Sysco Group on European/International customer plansWork with the Head of Sectors on the development of strategic objectives to deliver against the shared new business objectives
