Our Client, a leading high-end joinery company specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke interior joinery are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper.
Duties of a Bookkeeper to include but not limited to:
Recording day to day financial transactions
Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts
Managing purchase and sales ledgers
Processing accounts receivable and payable, and reconciliations
Uploading supplier delivery notes and invoices to project management software
Data export and entry from project management software to accounting software
Maintaining and balancing accounts, verifying and posting transactions
Managing client invoices and payments
Uploading payments to bank
Managing and processing payroll, PAYE and NI payments
Managing and processing employee expense claims
Monitoring financial transactions and reports
Preparing financial statements and reports including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
Management and filing of relevant documentation
Support external accounting team with administrative duties including prepare VAT returns, quarterly and annual accounts.
Requirements of a Bookkeeper:
At least five years bookkeeping experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry
Experienced in accounting software – Sage 50
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Attention to detail and accuracy of work
Able to prepare, review and understand a financial reports and statements
Excellent knowledge of general accounting.
Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 Depending upon experience.
