Key Account Manager - £35000-£40000 - Remote-Based
Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of IT Server/Storage, Security, Networking and Services to the Large Corporate, Local Government, Central Government and SME sectors. Since being established in 2000, our client has forged close business partnerships with global technology Vendors including Microsoft, HPE, Juniper, Palo Alto and many more.
As part of a company-wide recruitment drive, they are now seeking 2x Key Account Managers to join their established Remote Sales Team. The Key Account Managers will be aligned to an existing and warm account base supporting revenue and relationships within SME, Corporate and Blue-Chip Business markets covering areas such as account retention, renewals, customer interaction, project management, quote creation and processing, order processing and customer services issues. Key Account Managers will also get involved in business development by continually attempting to identify new opportunities for business, but only within existing accounts.
You will need a minimum of 2-3 years' experience working within a Key Account Manager or Customer Account Manager role for an IT Reseller or VAR
Strong organisation skills
Experience of using CRM Systems, Excel, Word to a proficient level
Ability to work in a high-pressured environment
Experience and knowledge of entire sales process
Strong Telephone Manner as well client-facing interaction
Ideally some track record of pro-active selling
Ability to work independently from home
* Starting salary of £35000-£40000
