Bookkeeper & Office Manager
Salary: £37,000 per annum
Location: Kemsing, Sevenoaks
Hours: 8-5pm Mon-Fri
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, free parking and pension.

This busy office in Sevenoaks require an experienced Office Manager with extensive Bookkeeping skills. Joining a well established and very friendly team you will be looking after the entire Invoicing and Accounting function on your own, linking in with an external Accountant and manage the day to day facilities whilst working with a mix of office and field based colleagues.
What does this role involve?
(70%) Bookkeeper - Bookkeeping duties include invoicing - approx. 30 per week, posting payments received, preparing weekly payment runs, credit control, reconciliation, P11D, VAT, payroll preparation for approx. 20 x staff and preparation of year end accounts for external accountant.
(30%) Office Manager / Business Support Manager - Looking after the facilities (office, electric, gas, telephones, office equipment etc) for this small firm and company insurances. Setting up new starters/leavers, booking travel, updating operation manuals, vehicle administration for 14 vehicles and managing PQQ (pre qualification questionnaires/ credit checks) for all clients.
The company use QuickBooks so experience of using this software would be advantageous however they are happy to provide a training course on this if you have perhaps used other accounts based packages.
This firm are keen to recruit someone who over time and with a better understanding of the company can really get stuck in with the day to day running of the business, supporting the Directors, Sales Manager and Project Team. You will become an integral part of the team and your experience and contribution will be highly valued.
