Bookkeeper – Perth - £25/27K
Exciting new opportunity for a bookkeeper to join a well-established Company based in Perth. Your duties will be to oversee the accounting requirements for several entities, including, invoices, credit control, payroll, yearly and monthly reports, and HMRC reports.
Responsibilities:
Processing supplier invoices
Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner
Process sales invoices
Credit Control
Payroll both weekly and monthly for approximately 100+staff
HMRC RTI Submissions
P11d’s and pension requirements
Year-end reports and submissions to HMRC
Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account
General journals
Cash flow forecast and monthly comparison reports
Fund requests
Monitoring of bank balances
Bank deposits
Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
Answering telephone
General office duties
Month end reporting to accountant
What we’re looking for:
Experience of processing payroll including auto enrolment, RTI and pensions
Experience using Xero and Sage accountancy software systems
Experience using Sage payroll software
Previous treasury experience
Computer literate and good numerical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Organised and methodical approach to record keeping and reporting
Attention to detail
Honesty and discretion when handling confidential financial information
