Bookkeeper

Location - Manchester city centre
Salary - £28,000 - £32,000

Simpson Judge are working with fast growing retail business, with offices based in Manchester city centre. This is a permeant opportunity with a well-established business, looking for an experienced bookkeeper or accounts manager, who are also offering study support.

Responsibilities include:
* Dealing with daily bookkeeping duties
* Maintenance of accounts payable/receivable
* Assisting with expenses, payroll & other duties
* Completion of Bank Reconciliation
* Preparing & reporting VAT returns
* Identifying areas of improvement in current procedures

Experience/Skills required:
* Experience in Sage 50 essential
* Strong Excel & Office skills
* Preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
