Bookkeeper in Preston - Simpson Judge

Simpson Judge is currently working with an independent practice based in Preston who are looking to appoint an experienced bookkeeper into the team. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to work in a positive environment where you are listened to and able to work independently. They are ideally looking for an individual who is an expert on cloud-based systems as this role will predominantly involve assisting clients on Xero accounting software.

Responsibilities -
* Preparation of VAT returns & dealing with different VAT schemes
* Bookkeeping for a varied client base
* Providing Xero support to clients, setting them up and training them how to use Xero
* Managing and reviewing work from outsourcer
* Payroll preparation

Package -
* £23,000 - £27,000 salary (depending on experience)
* Flexible working & ability to work-from-home

Requirements -
* Experience dealing with clients directly
* Experience using Xero software (desirable)
