Your new company Based in East Kilbride, our client is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8.30pm - 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm. The organisation is keen for training to be completed in office with hybrid working (2 days at home) offered moving forward. The organisation has on-site parking and can be accessed by local public transport. Your new role Reporting to the Managing Director and working as part of a team of 3, the Bookkeeper will undertake a range of duties. This will include but is not limited to; purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations, processing orders, allocations, month end duties, reporting for management, handling queries from internal and external stakeholders, month end responsibilities and general associated finance tasks. What you'll need to succeed Experience in a similarly varied role is essential. You will be a team player who is comfortable undertaking a range of duties and you will also be able to work from your own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, as you will liaise with internal colleagues & management and external clients and suppliers on a daily basis. The IT system used is Orderwise. Experience of this package is advantageous but not essential.
