The Job

They are recruiting for a Sales Manager who is polished and professional, enthusiastic, collaborative and approachable. They need to be well informed regarding high end interiors markets and able to provide an outstanding service to our clients, exceeding their expectations. The candidate should have a strong background in high end sales environments such as contemporary art and design, furniture and lighting.

Their clients are looking for quality, individuality and efficiency, delivered via clear, knowledgeable and beautiful presentations of simplicity and elegance. The position is based in London between their design studio in North London and the Belgravia showroom in the heart of the sought-after Pimlico Road Design District. You would be working closely with the creative team and the production team to produce quality pieces with artistic merit. They are looking for ambassadors for their company.

Duties and Responsibilities

Generate and convert sales opportunities to meet sales targets

Negotiate with customers and build positive relationships

Produce and present client proposals for standard, custom or bespoke items in printable and/or filmed presentations

Follow up on sales opportunities, WIP and post-sale deliveries

Book and host client tours of showroom, studio and workshops in central London

Look for new opportunities for repeat business

Maintain company data base following all checklists and processes

Produce weekly sales reports

Reliable and flexible

Knowledge and Experience (desirable)

Client facing sales experience preferably 5 years+

Knowledge and experience within the interior design and or arts sector

Experience in generating new business leads

Experience in account management

Demonstrable high conversion ratio of opportunities to orders

Experience in selling products with a price range of £5,000 to £100,000

Experience of meeting sales targets in excess of £1M

Photoshop and Microsoft; CRM Software ideally Salesforce

Qualifications (desirable)

BA, MA, BSc or MBA
