We are currently seeking and personable and friendly Bookkeeper to work with our Central Gloucester based client on a part or full time, permanent basis.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work within a small team of customer friendly people, either working full or part days.
·Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
·Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
·Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
·Completing VAT returns
·Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
·Managing employee expense claims
·Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
Required knowledge and experience:
·You MUST be literate in the use of Quickbooks and xero
·Previous bookkeeping experience within a general practice
·Have a flexible approach to work and offer ideas and suggestion for improvements where appropriate
This position offers hours from 20 per week and full time is also considered.
Salary is £24 to 26,000 pro rata with 23 days holiday, plus Bank holidays
