Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Kitchens and Bathroom Furniture

Industry Sector: KBB, kitchens, bathrooms, doors, accessories, handles, lighting, storage, kitchen retail showrooms, bathroom retail showrooms, carcass/ cabinet furniture manufacturers and distributors

Areas to be covered: a) South East b) South West

Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 + £4,000 Bonus

Benefits: Fully expensed car & Benefits

The role of the Area Sales Manager - KBB Kitchens and Bathroom Furniture will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a manufactured range of made-to-measure kitchen and bathroom carcasses and cabinet furniture accessories
  • Selling predominantly into kitchen and bathroom retail showrooms, but also carcass manufacturers and distributors
  • Responsible for either the South East or South West territories
  • Initial revenue responsibility for circa £1m area turnover
  • 80% of your time will be new business orientated winning new customer accounts
  • 20% account managing existing accounts
  • Customer accounts vary in size from £5,000 turnover up to £200,000 turnover
  • Tasked with growing the area, our client is currently performing 40% above budget expectation
  • New areas for our client, created through a retirement and a desire to grow the field sales team

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - KBB Kitchens and Bathroom Furniture with:

  • KBB field sales experience
  • Ideally working for a similar business within the kitchen or bathroom industry
  • Preferably with contacts on patch within kitchen or bathroom showroom retailers / distributors, or small kitchen and bathroom furniture manufacturers/ carcass manufactures
  • Proven field sales/ territory management track record of success
  • Resilient personality
  • Fire in the belly/ new business hunter (no journey men)
  • Structured and organised in approach
  • Ability to hit the ground running
