Liberty AF Recruitment is delighted to be working with our passionate and growing client in seeking a Bookkeeper, based on the outskirts of Portsmouth, to join their busy and balanced team. This is a permanent position and can be worked full time or 30 hours - you choose!
Reporting in to the Bookkeeping Manager, you will be responsible for looking after your own client portfolio and building relationships with clients.
Some of your duties will include;
* Ledger and account reconciliations
* Submitting CIS returns
* VAT returns
* Journal postings
* Maintaining and updating reports and records
Applicants for this role will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to prioritise own workloads, a strong team player, flexible and adaptable and high attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience of working within a chartered accountancy practice and it would be advantageous if you were AAT qualified. It would also be useful if you have Xero and/or QuickBooks experience.
In return, our client is offering a salary circa. £14ph, DOE, plus some fantastic benefits such as healthcare, EAP and flexible working!
