Accounts & Bookkeeper
Salary: circa £30,000 depending on experience/qualifications
Full time with flexible start and finish times for the right candidate.
Location: Tadcaster + free parking
Due to business growth our client, a family run business based on the outskirts of Tadcaster, is in search of an experienced individual to manage their Accounts & Bookkeeping.
To be successful in this role you will be confident in a stand-alone role, be self-motivated and have the experience to make an instant impact, though full support to understand the farming/organic industry will be provided.
We anticipate the role will grow with the business. To support this growth the right candidate will be an excellent bookkeeper, manage duty and import taxes, and consider opportunities to continually improve the finance function with the management team.
This is a varied role with duties that will include:
Monthly Management Accounts
Payroll – including bonus system related to internal KPI process
Bank Account entries and reconciliation
Balance Sheet account reconciliations
You would be a great asset to our team if you have:
demonstrable experience of working in a stand-alone role
a minimum of 4 years bookkeeping experience
excellent working knowledge of SAGE and Xero
working knowledge of Microsoft Office
AAT or similar qualification would be an advantage
experience in preparing monthly management information
integrity & honesty
ability to work to deadlines
high levels of accuracy, attention to detail with analytical skills
good communication skills
