We are a small boutique financial adviser business offering high quality independent financial advice to clients in the music and entertainment industries.

We seek a part-time investment administrator to work from home and play a key part in making the client experience both personal and professional.

The work involves all aspects of financial administration, including keeping detailed records, preparing illustrations, liaising with providers and complying with regulatory requirements.

The role would suit someone who can work efficiently and accurately, work to deadlines, prioritise when necessary, and establish and develop good working relationships with clients and providers.

Every day is different in that you will be working on various client files, all of whom have different financial objectives and expectations.

You will be working closely with our investment adviser and will be liaising directly with our clients. The ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships is essential, as is the ability to prioritise work and always maintain 100% accuracy in everything you do.

The role will involve:

  • Manage annual review clients at the start of each month
  • New business administration and processing
  • Client servicing
  • Maintenance of client records in a compliant manner
  • Request documents needed
  • Request valuations needed
  • General admin


£25,000 Pro Rata, Pension, Income Protection, 23 days holiday pro-rata - 3 to be used at Christmas (but we are always flexible)

Additional Information

This role is work from home with occasional visits to London if required. We may meet once a month in Notting Hill for a staff meeting. You may also occasionally be asked to attend a client meeting if needed.

Essential Skills

Previous experience gained in a financial planning or wealth management environment.

Desired Skills

  • Back office software experience preferably - Xplan, O&M systems (pension & investment research with cashflow modelling)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • A calm and professional manner
  • Excellent computer and administration skills - Microsoft office
  • Tact and discretion for dealing with confidential information

About Company

We are a small boutique financial advisory firm working mainly with clients from the music and entertainment industries. And advising primarily on mortgages, protection, and investments business.

Our founder has worked in the industry for thirty years, and we are a small, close-knit, open and honest team dedicated to providing an excellent client experience.

We work from home but do have occasional meetings in London
