Marketing Communications Specialist (Construction Product Testing) - Watford, Herts


A new vacancy for a Marketing Communications Specialist with leading UK provider of technical services to Construction product manufacturers & installers both in the UK and overseas. As a key member of a small marketing team, the Marketing Communications Specialist will work on a number of internal and external communications projects, and be responsible for the development and implementation of leading-edge communications strategies. The Marketing Communciations Specialist will report in to the company's headquarters in Watford, with the option of homeworking. The company is looking for a candidate who is excited about excellence and playing a critical part in the business' focus on serving its customers better. He/she must be comfortable working in a structured environment, with the agility to adapt when necessary, and the confidence to suggest improvements to work more efficiently.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop and implement communications strategies around the client journey and internal communication processes to support transformation projects & team updates.
Lead communication efforts on major transformation projects in partnership with Project Heads and contribute towards client-focused content development.
Work with internal management teams to facilitate improved communications both internally and externally, to remove silos between the company's functions.
Support and evaluate results of client communication campaigns within the team.Desired Skills & Technical Expertise:

Experienced in a Communications role, with minimum 2 years of experience in Client communications strategies and communications strategy development; Corporate Communications experience is also desirable.
Exceptional verbal and written skills, self-driven against targets and deadlines, thrive on taking action and trying new things.
Comfortable with new ways of working, with meticulous attention to detail, can cope well with working under pressure and able to build relationships
