Our client is looking for a Head Cook to work in a very busy kitchen.
Fixed term work February to November. 3-5 days a week (6am start). Predominantly weekend work.
Experience in cooking in a busy, fast paced environment is essential.
Level 2 in Health & Safety and Food Hygiene is desirable, however in house training can be given.
Ability to drive (full driver’s license) preferred due to early morning starts.
Job Role to include:
Cooking to a high level and owning the menu content
Responsible for completion of Food Safety/Hygiene paperwork
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Complying with all food legislation rules and regulations
General cleaning duties throughout and end of shift
Responsible for orders/supplies
Managing a budget
Ability to manage and work as part of a team
Excellent time keeping
Prioritising a high volume of order tickets
Flexible working to the needs of the business Expected start date: 07/02/2022
