Job Description

This role focuses on security awareness, education and advice and is part of the Security Services Team reporting to the Security Intelligence and Contract Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity at MBDA UK. The role will be based on site with an opportunity to work within a blended approach of site and remote working. The site base can either be Stevenage, Bristol or Bolton. However, some travel may also be required across sites.

You will work closely with other departments in MBDA, the Ministry of Defence, and the wider domestic and international defence community to facilitate and manage classified contracts. You will become a subject matter expert, ensuring adherence to security requirements in a broad range of business activities.

You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team, driving an excellent security culture within MBDA through education and awareness. Working with key external organisations such as CPNI you will be instrumental in creating and developing security-training products utilising innovative and creative communication methodologies to reach the whole business.

Who are we looking for?

You must have excellent communication skills and ability to deliver presentations to a professional standard.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Systems such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Good knowledge of information and cyber security.
Experience in security or UK defence industry is desirable but not necessarily essential
Also, whilst not essential, the ideal candidate will have experience in handling classified contracts (F680/F1686) within the UK defence industry.
The candidate must be able to reach SC clearance level.
